PEEK Thermocouple cables for temperature sensor

PEEK Thermocouple cables for temperature sensor,CIT cable range specifically made for temperature sensors

When heated, metal will generate a small, but measureable voltage. By using two dissimilar metals in a circuit and measuring the differential, it is possible to get a very accurate means of tracking those temperature changes. Different pairings of metals allow for different measurements and accuracies at different temperatures
we manufacture a wide range of temperature sensing cables, including thermocouple K,J,T cables and resistance measurement cables. CITCABLE range includes extension cables and compensation cables available in various accuracy classes and colour codings.

Unprecedented temperature ranges
CITCABLE product range uses PEEK,PTFE,PFA,FEP,ETFE,XLETFE,PEI,PI cores with a PEEK,PFA,FEP,ETFE,XLETFE,PEI,PI,FKM,VITON,PPM outer sheath to provide the widest possible temperature range for thermocouple cables.

Flexible screening solutions

CITCABLE also use high coverage (minimum 85%) Nickel Plated Copper (NPC), S304,SPC braids to provide flexible screening and the ability to operate from a fixed installed temperature of -200°C or a flexing temperature range of -65°C up to +260°C.

Accurate temperature measurement

To get an accurate measurement, very expensive metals are used for the thermocouple in the temperature probe. These metals would be prohibitive for the long cable runs that are often required between the probe and the measuring equipment, and this is where extension and compensation cables are used.

Resistance measurement

For applications where thermocouples aren’t a suitable solution, an alternative approach is to measure the fluctuations in conductor resistance that occur as metal is heated. These resistance measurement cables benefit from being able to use standard conductors
